Eyelid Surgery
The eyelids and surrounding tissues are specialised structures linked to the eye and therefore vision. The tissues in this area are delicate and the anatomy unique. Many different problems can arise ranging from eyelid malpositions, lumps and bumps and more serious eyelid tumours.
Mr Michael Wearne has a Fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery from Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and is a trained ophthalmic plastic surgeon. He has a wealth of experience in eyelid surgery and tries to deal expertly with all situations ranging from the relatively minor to the larger reconstructive operations. He is a member of the British Oculoplastic Surgeons Society (www.bopss.org) and the European Society of Ophthalmic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (www.esoprs.eu).
